Commentary & Comic Strip for IR
For this project, we had to chose a book to read and then write a reflection paper about it. We also had to draw a comic strip about what we thought was one of the most important scenes in the book. The book I chose to read was Everlost by -------------------------. The scene I chose to draw was a scene where the identity of the main antagonist of the story is revealed and his whole plot is unraveled and destroyed.
This was not one of my favorite project for the simple reason that i am not good at drawing, and when I do draw, I am a perfectionist. Therefore, it took me over two hours to try to draw out this sequence of the story. Yet I still grew emotionally from this experience because it taught me that although it is important to refine your work to make it look legible or neat, you cannot always come up with a perfect product. No matter how annoying it may be never end up with a perfect picture, you must always keep in mind that perseverance can drive you to accomplish anything. I realize that my drawing is not the best, but I worked on it very hard and am very proud of my work.
